Already in our first week of December and without a doubt the Christmas season is in full swing (and bringing with it the cold).
This year Lisbon’s official lighting of the Christmas lights starts today, 6 December. Christmas markets are one of the nicest ways of taking in the Christmas lights around the city; some markets are even on the doorstep of our neighbourhood and others may require a little more of a hop and a skip to Sintra and Cascais. And if lights aren’t enough, check out some festive music.

As much as the lights and music can sparkle and bring some fun times during this holiday period, it can also be a difficult one. Not only am I and many of Mila’s staff far from our families, we also know that you too may be far from your family, which can feel particularly further away during this time of year.
And it doesn’t get easier with the shorter days and extra layering of clothes, which is why we like to give a helping hand and take off at least one layer….of your to-do list and replace it with a moment of connection.
We know the importance of community and want to make it easy for you to be able to celebrate new connections, colleagues and friends, made this year over a warm meal in a cosy and laid back environment. Leave it to us to help you make that Christmas and holiday dinner party possible without having to step into a supermarket or do the dishes.
